Motion 06132007-(1-3): Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer to accept the minutes of May 16, May 30, and June 6, 2007 meetings as read, all in favor.
7:12 p.m. Kenneth DeCerc, County Waste, introduced his company’s business plans.
Motion 06132007- 4: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson, all in favor, to reapply for CORI access certification.
Motion 06132007-5: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by Christian Petersen, all in favor, to sign paperwork authorizing change of manager at P.J.’s Town Crier.
Motion 06132007-6: Motion made by Christian Petersen, seconded by Earl Johnson, all in favor, to appoint the following to the Council on Aging:
Lowell Nixon, term to expire 6/30/09
Olive Nixon, term to expire 6/30/09
John Reed, term to expire 6/30/09
Margaret Crock, Sr. Center Dir., term to expire 6/30/08
Deb Tierney, Outreach Worker, term to expire 6/30/08
Motion 06132007-7: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer, all in favor, to appoint Christian Petersen as Holland’s Representative to the Quaboag Valley Business Assistance Corporation.
Motion 06132007-8: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by Christian Petersen, all in favor, to accept MIIA’s premium quotation for Police and Fire Accident coverage.
Motion 06132007-9: Motion made by Christian Petersen, seconded by James Wettlaufer, all in favor to appoint the following to the Private Roads Committee:
Raymond P. Korny, term to expire 06/30/08
Angelina Casavant, term to expire 06/30/08
Donald Sanders, term to expire 06/30/08
Motion 06132007-10: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer, all in favor, to accept the ACT contract for lake management.
Motion 06132007-11: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer, all in favor, to hold by-weekly Selectmen’s meetings during July and August.
Motion 06132007-12: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by Christian Petersen, all in favor, to appoint James Wettlaufer as chairman of the Board of Selectmen, term to expire 6/30/08.
Motion 06132007-13: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer, all in favor, to appoint Christian Petersen as clerk of the Board of Selectmen, term to expire 6/30/08.
Holland citizens were asked to write letters to Senator Brewer in support of the STRAP grant.
Michael Kennedy reported on current School Committee activities.
Warrants were signed and delivered to the Treasurer.
