Motion 05092007-1: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to dispense with the reading of the May 2, 2007 meeting minutes.
7:00 P.M. Chief Kevin Gleason requested the appointment of Mark Pillsbury as a part time police officer, term to expire in one year.
Motion 05092007-2: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to accept the appointment of Mark Pillsbury as a part time police officer, term to expire May 9, 2008.
Brimfield Ambulance service is requesting a 3% increase ($48,846.00) for fiscal year 2008.
Motion 05092007-3: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer to authorize Daniel Durgin, Superintendent of Schools, to submit to the Massachusetts School Building Authority the Statement of Interest dated May 10, 2007 for the Holland Elementary School located at 28 Sturbridge Road, Holland, MA 01521 which describes and explains the following deficiencies and the priority category(s) for which Holland School District may be invited to apply to the Massachusetts School Building Authority in the future:
Priority 1- air quality, windows, roof, doorways; Priority 2 - lease portable classrooms due to overcrowding; Priority 5 - Heating system inefficient and outdated; Priority 7 - spaces do not meet current state recommendations; and hereby further specifically acknowledges that by submitting this Statement of Interest, the Massachusetts School Building Authority in no way guarantees the acceptance or the approval of an application, the awarding of a grant or any other funding commitment from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, or commits the City/Town/Regional School District to filing an application for funding with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

Motion 05092007-4: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to hold next Selectmen’s Meeting, May 16, at 9 p.m.
Motion 05092007-5: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to sign Highway $130,400.00 SAAN loan.
Warrants were signed and delivered to the Treasurer.
Motion 05092007-6: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m., all in favor.
