Selectmen’s Minutes
March 21, 2007
Opened: 7:00 p.m.
Present: James Wettlaufer, Christian Petersen, Earl Johnson
Motion 03212007-1: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson (all in favor) to accept the minutes of the March 7, 2007 meeting as read with the following amendment:
Motion 03072007-2: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer to approve the appointment of Jeff Forcier as a part-time police officer, all in favor.
Motion 03212007-2: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to approve the signing of the Hiller New England contract for one year, all in favor.
Motion 03212007-3: Motion made by James Wettlaufer, seconded by Earl Johnson to nominate Karen Tavernier to continue as Inspector of Animals, term to expire April 30, 2008, all in favor.
Selectmen agreed to have Executive Secretary complete the MARPA Local Permitting Survey.
Selectmen agreed to have Town Counsel approve signing of the Mutual Aid Agreement.
Motion 03212007-4: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer to forward the special permitting process packet and MA regulations on adult entertainment to the Planning Committee with their recommendation in favor of special permitting, suggesting that this be addressed at the next Annual Town Meeting, all in favor.
Warrants were signed and delivered to the Treasurer.
Motion 03212007-5: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer to adjourn the meeting at 7:26 p.m.
