Minutes of Meeting Held May 12, 2015

Meeting open at 6:05 p.m.

Present: Christian Petersen, Cynthia Poirier,  Diane Rhodes Gregoire
Absent:  JoAnne Higgins

Appointments:  
Minutes of the meeting held April 28, 2015 were presented. Motion made by Cynthia Poirier to accept and sign the minutes.  Second by Christian Petersen. Voted 3-0.


Signatures:

The Board signed the Monthly List of MV Excise Abatements granted in April Levy of 2015 $581.46.
The Board signed the Monthly List of RE Exemptions granted in April Levy of 2015 $400.00.
The Board signed the Monthly List of RE Abatements granted in April Levy of 2015 $1,267.56.
The Board signed the Monthly List of PP Abatements granted in April Levy of 2105 $1,321.51.

Discussion/Review:
  • The Board noted preparation for FY16 Interim year adjustments and FY17 Recertification of Values. Tabled to next meeting.
  • The Board noted the Town Meeting on May 26, 2015 @ 7:00 p.m.
  • The Board noted the Vision in house training.  Holland has credits from the original contract that can pay for two days of classes in Marlboro.  JoAnne Higgins would like to attend July 21 & September 15, 2015.  Motion made by Cynthia Poirier to have JoAnne attend with a mileage allowance.  Second by Diane Rhodes Gregoire.  Voted 3-0.
  • The Board noted ATB Formal Appeal R40/A/01.01 filed.  Review at next meeting.
  • The Board noted property owner of 24/A/2 requests that we review value based on lot configuration and possible wetland.  JoAnne to set up appointment to visit the property.
  • The Board noted property owner of 17 Collette Drive advises his building permit is held up by the Board of Health and he cannot occupy the property until the issue is resolved.
Correspondence:
  • The Board noted the Memo to the Conservation Commission regarding 3/B/46.1 land of E. Hanna on Leno Road.

The next scheduled meeting is on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 @ 6:00 p.m.


Having no further business a motion was made by Christian Petersen to adjourn.  Second by Cynthia Poirier. Voted 3-0.
