HEARING
Leonard Gengel, C&S Builders, Inc. Case No. SP1012
The Zoning Administrator held a public hearing on October 14, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in Memorial Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA on the application of Leonard Gengel, C&S Builders, for property located at 12 Vista Circle, Lot 2 for a Special Permit for an accessory apartment to a new home being constructed.
Pamela Harding, Zoning Administrator, called the hearing to order. Since there were no objections, the reading of the application and findings of fact was waived.
The applicant, Leonard Gengel, submitted a revised plan showing a small change to the original. He indicated that the size of the bedroom was being decreased to allow for the addition of a hallway leading to the back deck. This document is entitled ‘The Cooney Residence, Lot #HH-02, The Highlands, Holden, MA. and can be viewed at the Department of Growth Management or the Town Clerk’s Office.
Mr. Timothy Cooney explained that he will be the owner of this home, but will live in the accessory apartment with his wife, Joyce Cooney. Douglas and Janice Cooney will live in the main house.
Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was officially closed at 9:15 a.m.
After fully reviewing the case, the Zoning Administrator granted the special permit with the following conditions: 1) The Declaration of Covenant must be recorded at the Registry of Deeds listing Timothy and Joyce Cooney as residents of the accessory apartment; 2) The Special Permit is approved in accordance with the revised plans received on 10/14/10 entitled ‘The Cooney Residence, Lot #HH-02, The Highlands, Holden, MA’.
