Traffic Access Management (TAM)
It was discovered that no other municipality in MA has a TAM. Waltham has implemented a "Traffic Plan". The T/CC will try to obtain information from them.
T/CC made a presentation to the Planning Board at its 3/24/09 meeting. The T/CC recommendation for the creation of a TAM was unanimously received by the Board. Planning Board member Otto Lies noted that DELTA Funds are available (approximately $5,000) for the development of a TAM and that the Town should work quickly to submit the grant application.
CMRPC offers Holden "free time" to discuss the commission's participation in the creation of the TAM. Jim Zingarelli will contact CMRPC for help with the DELTA grant. Jim and Don Lawton will meet with Pam Harding about how to approach the CMRPC for help with the grant. All members are invited to this meeting. Other monies for the TAM consultant may be available from the Holden Master Plan Committee.

The signal phasing plans are available from MassHighway Boston.
