SKATEBOARD PARK MINUTES
April 10, 2012

Mike presented the 20 large flyers that will be distributed to the schools: Mayo, Dawson, Davis Hill, Wachusett, and Mountview, which advertise the Skateboard Jam to be held on Friday, April 20 from 11:00 – 3:00 at the Dawson Recreation Area parking lot. The remaining flyers will be distributed to the establishments in Town that the kids typically frequent. The Jam will consist of ¼ pipes, grind boxes, rails and ramps. Eastern Border will also offer a “game of skate”, which will be age appropriate and skill level appropriate. Proper safety equipment must be worn for anyone to participate.
Mike will put together an agenda/time line/schedule of events.
Valerie will try to get permission from the school’s administrators, to distribute 8 ½ X 11 flyers promoting the Skateboard Jam. This all has to be completed within 2 days because of school vacation.
It was strongly suggested that plenty of pictures be taken at the Jam.
Mike will ask Robin to post an announcement on the Town’s message board.
Minutes from the March 13, 2012 meeting were accepted as written.
