Resource Profile Meeting
Members Present: Jim Dunn, Paul Challenger, Peter Lacy, Don Mancini, Joe Dolak, Karl Makala, Marilynn Foley
Members Absent: Al Berg, Rick Bates
Also Present: Nancy Galkowski, Town Manager, Jacquie Kelly, Assistant Town Manager, Sharon Lowder, Town Treasurer, Lori Rose, Town Accountant, Beverly Kenniston, Town Assessor, George Sherrill, Chief of Police, Jack Chandler, Fire Chief. Dennis Lipka, Director of Growth Management, Cheryl Jenkins, Town Clerk, Denise Morano, Recreation Director, Jim Robinson, HMLD Manager, Doug Nelson, Information Technology, Selectmen: Ken O’Brien, Jim Jumonville and Bob Lavigne by conference call.
The meeting was called to order at 7:11 P.M.
Town Manager, Nancy Galkowski, presented an overview of the Resource Profile for F/Y 2013 and answered questions from the Committee and BOS.
Committee assignments for the Budget review:
General Government: Peter, Don
Education: Paul
Public Safety: Rick, Joe
Growth Management: Jim, Don
Human Services: Marilynn, Joe
Public Works: Al, Karl
WRSD, Capital Plan: Al, Paul
Paul has volunteered to serve on the proposed WRSD Revenue Sharing Task Force. His name will be forwarded to the Selectmen.
Karl reported that the Public Safety Building project.
Paul reported the Mountview project is moving forward working with the State.
A motion by Paul 2nd by Joe to approve the minutes of January 18, 2012 was voted unanimously (abstained Peter, Don).
The meeting adjourned at 8:20.
