CABLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES
MEETING NUMBER 203
HCTV Studio September 22, 2008
800 Main Street 7:00 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chris Hugo, Hank Ouellette, Larry Popple, Patt Popple, Duffy Tilson, Ginny Ursin.
ALSO PRESENT: Johnny Suire, Public Access Director
The minutes of meeting #203, August 13, 2008 were accepted.
Control Room/Studio Upgrade: Johnny is proceeding with the purchase of RCU's from AdTech to make the studio cameras fully functional.
Surplus Equipment/WRHS: Tim Either is still evaluating the equipment we moved to WRHS. Johnny feels he will be moving forward soon to have AdTech install it in the Black Box Theater.
WRHS Wiring: Charter has run the cable system to the utility room. Johnny will be getting 3 quotes on running it to the auditorium and the Black Box Theater.
Productions in progress:
a. Johnny stayed up until 3:30 am to tape the move of the Caswell-King building to its new home next to the Mobil gas station.
b. Holden Garden Club Program: Featuring Peter Alden, naturalist and author of 15 books on wildlife and plants, speaking on "Changes in Flora and Fauna from Pilgrims to Thoreau to Today."
c. 20th On-the-Road program!
d. All Aboard for America at the Senior Center: "This program is a creative, fun and educational program where seniors come together to demonstrate their heritage."
e. A day in the life of Rep. Lew Evangelidis featuring Lew taking us into the State House for an in-depth tour.
Next meeting: Scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
