M. Johnson called the Board of Health Meeting to order at 5:00 PM
SEPTIC PLAN REVIEWS:
481 Wachusett Street: New England Environmental Design for Dave Coolidge. This is a complete system upgrade for an addition. The applicant brought in new plans showing the present cesspool location.
Condition(s)
The southerly lot line and system must be staked.
The current cesspool must be properly removed and disposed of per Title 5.
M. Johnson motioned to approve. M. Ricker seconded. All in favor, approved.
341 Sterling Road: Wind River Environmental for James and Patricia Vanderploeg. This application is for a complete system replacement for a bedroom addition.
Condition(s):
The easterly lot line and system must be staked.
Regarding note #18, the reference to “known” well is insufficient. The wells must be located on the plans.
The plans need the septic tank buoyancy figures, and the water elevation is incorrectly displayed, and must be corrected.
The Board was concerned, and will check with DEP, that the soil evaluator was certified at the time of the soil evaluation.
