Motion was made by James Dillon and seconded by Beverly Potvin Kenniston. It was voted to approve the minutes of June 25, 2012.
2. Appellate Tax Board Update
Robert H. Gallo, Appellant v. Board of Assessors of the Town of Holden, Docket No. F-315370. Renewed Motion to Dismiss for Failure to Comply with Court Order for interior inspection has been filed by Town Counsel.
- Telecommunications and Personal Property Valuations
New Fiscal Year 2013 personal property values have been generated for the telecommunication companies. True Forms of lists have been reviewed. New personal property accounts have been visited and their personal property has been listed and assessed.
Rose Scully, Asst. Assessor/Data Collector will attend the Massachusetts Assessors’ School at the University of Massachusetts from August 6 to August 10.
FY2013 Preliminary Tax Bills were mailed on June 29, 2012. First quarter tax payments are due on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
There will be no August Board of Assessor meeting. The next meeting will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 3:00 P.M.
