MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS

1. Acceptance of Minutes
Motion was made by Beverly Potvin Kenniston, and seconded by James Dillon. It was voted to approve the minutes of the November 7, 2011 meeting.
2. Tax Rate Set
The Principal Assessor met with Andrew Nelson from the Department of Revenue on Wednesday, November 9 to review the Recap Sheet and supporting documentation in order to set the Fiscal Year 2012 Tax Rate.
The Tax Rate of $16.53 was approved by the Department of Revenue on November 18, 2011.
3. Actual Tax Bills
The Actual Tax Bills for Fiscal Year 2012 will be mailed on December 30, 2011.
The assessors voted to approve the following real estate exemptions:

Exemption certificated will be mailed on December 30, 2011. Taxpayers have 90 days from the issuance of the actual tax bill in which to file for real estate exemptions.
5. Next Meeting Date
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 3:00 P.M.
