1. Block Party Workshop Discussion
The Commission agreed to instruct staff to look into Alachua County special permit and bring back to the City Commission or put information into their City Commission mail box @ city hall.
I. CITIZEN COMMENTS
City Manager Vause spoke on behalf of Mr. Steven Watkins. The Memorial service for Ms. Margery Douglas is postponed because Ms. Douglas father is ill. Rev. Herring and the New Hope Church will do a small ceremony during an upcoming church service and invite Mr. Watkins to participate.

Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham- Super Senior lunch tomorrow at the Community Center 11AM-1PM.
Commissioner Bouie- No report
Vice Mayor Howard- Attended the Alachua County School Board Concurrency meeting about the 1 cent tax. HMHS and Shell Elementary will received $12M combined.
4. Mayor Surrency- HMHS Boys Basketball lost in the Regional. Hats off to staff for what you’ve been doing. Ag fair in Gainesville. HMHS has over 100 entries at the fair. HYS baseball and softball has started. 60 day Legislation started today. No longer employed at Florida Septic. Now working with Edward-Jones.
