I. DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. The Great American Clean-up
The Great American Cleanup will be March 30, 2019 from 8am to noon.
2. Tin Can Antique Campers at LOCNP
The open house tour of the tin can campers will be March 30, 2019 from 9am to 1pm at the LOCNP.
J. CITIZEN COMMENTS- None ~
K. ~REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/INFORMATION
1. City Manager Vause gave her city manager report.
2. City Attorney Hoehn- the State approved the ballot language for the referendum. The 2nd reading will go before the Commission on March 5, 2019. Alachua County Canvassing Board will count the votes on April 16, 2019.
3. City Commission
Commissioner Floyd- Have had theft at his home. The city manager said he needed to go around the city and find other dark spots in the city and do a list to bring before the city commission.
Commissioner Roberts- Super Seniors field trip was cancel. The next luncheon will be at the Community Center on March 13, 2019. Free scooter available will leave information with staff.
Commissioner Bouie- Please keep the community in your prayers. We had several deaths in the area.
Vice Mayor Howard- I agree with what Commissioner Bouie stated. Please keep the family in your prayers.
4. Mayor Surrency- Recreation department doing well. He is the new coach for the recreation rookie baseball team. Alachua County Fair animal showing March 7-12, 2019. FLC Legislative Days in Tallahassee March 26-27, 2019. Congressman Yoho office staff visited city hall.
