H.  DISCUSSION ITEMS
City Manager- the road crew removing a root has damaged the concrete fence at the cemetery. The road crew contacted staff about resolving the issue to fix the fence.  Have started negotiating with the road crew to see what they could do.  Mayor Surrency asked if we buy the material will they install it.

I.  CITIZEN COMMENTS
Marian Rucker- West end of SE 62nd was clean.  The Stadium Road on corner of SE 65 Avenue needs cutting. ~

J. ~REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/INFORMATION
1. City Manager Vause gave a brief City Manager’s report.
2. City Attorney Hoehn- Alachua Co Attorney Office asked for input on Ethics training. Asked if City of Hawthorne is willing to continue through the County.  City Commissioner stated all have been receiving training through Florida League or online.

A. Commissioner Floyd- None
B. Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham- Gave an update on Super Seniors.
C. Commissioner Bouie- None
D. Vice Mayor- None
4. Mayor Surrency- Friday Hawthorne vs. PKY in football at 7:30PM in Hawthorne.  Thank you to the City Manager for representing Hawthorne in last night meeting.  Asked the City Manager to contact Alachua County about bringing service to Hawthorne like discussed at the open house.
