2.  Swearing in Ceremony (Commissioner Bouie & Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham)
City Commissioners Bouie and Roberts-Cheatham was sworn in by City Attorney Hoehn, to serve another 2 years on the City of Hawthorne City Commission.

3.  Election of Mayor
Vice Mayor Howard nominated Mayor Surrency to serve another year as the Mayor of Hawthorne.  Mayor Surrency accept the nomination.

4.  Election of Vice Mayor

7.  Resolution- Lateral Transfer from TD Bank to Capital City
Moved to authorize the Mayor to have the City Manager to make the lateral transfers for both accounts, with Mayor, Vice Mayor, City Manager and City Clerk as signors.

8.  EDA Proposal for Engineering Services Lake Breeze Estates Drainage Improvements
City Manager Vause gave the staff recommendations regarding the retention pond in Lake Breeze and the problem it creates when the pond overflows.  
The City Commission directed City Manager Vause to get more information on the Geotechnical Report for $3K and bring it back to the City Commission.  Informational purpose only.

1. City Manager Vause gave her City Manager report.

3. City Commission
Commissioner Floyd- Congratulations to Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham and Commissioner Bouie and Congratulations to Mayor and Vice Mayor for serving another year in their places as well.
Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham- Thank you to the City Manager and staff for fixing the dips in Lake Breeze.  Thank you to the citizens for allowing her to run unopposed.  Also congratulations to the Mayor and Vice Mayor.
Commissioner Bouie- Thank you to the citizens for allowing her to run unopposed.  Congratulations to Mayor Surrency and Vice Mayor Howard.
Vice Mayor Howard- Thank you to the City Commission for allowing him to serve another year as Vice Mayor and congratulations to Commissioners Bouie and Roberts-Cheatham.
4. Mayor Surrency- Thank you for the vote of confidence to allow him to serve another year as the Mayor and congratulations to Commissioner Roberts-Cheatham and Commissioner Bouie.  Also now that he is Mayor for another year, he will also be the President of Mayor League of Cities and will continue to represent Hawthorne.
