Mr. Donnelly presented the 2014 Hurricane Season report to the City Commission and the citizens of Hawthorne.

1. Swearing In Ceremony for City Commissioners
City Attorney Hoehn swore in Commissioner Bouie and Commissioner Roberts to serve another 2 years on the City Commission Board.
Commission Bouie and Commissioner Roberts thanked the citizens for their vote of confidence.
2. Nomination of Mayor
City Attorney Hoehn opened the floor for nominations for the Mayor.
Commissioner Roberts nominated Commissioner Matthew Surrency for Mayor. Mayor Surrency accepted the nomination.

Vice Mayor Howard- have a conflict on the 14th. May not walk but will try to make it to the AED dedication.
4. Mayor Surrency- Mike Walker ceremony is May 14 from 1-4pm at the Lindsey Phillips Park. School getting out for the summer. Thanks for the support from the City Commissioners and the citizens of Hawthorne.
