Mr. AuBroncee Martin announced his candidacy for Alachua County Court Judge.

D.  COMMITTEE REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS
1.  Proclamation- WWII Veteran Mr. Dewey
City Manager Vause announced Mr. Dewey is a seasonal resident and he has travel back to home town up North.  The City Commission agreed to wait until Mr. Dewey is back in Florida and present the proclamation to him in person.

2.  Proclamation- Child Abuse Prevention Month
City Manager Vause read the proclamation for Child Abuse.

3.  Schrader water bill
City Manager Vause- The property owner on behalf of the tenant is asking the City Commission for a second leak adjustment during the 2014 calendar year.  The adjustment will total $1748.00 credited off the sewer portion of the bill. Reducing the bill to $1195.66.
Moved to approve the second adjustment for a water leak.

4.  Memorandum of Understanding LOCNP
City Manager Vause- A memorandum of understanding is sought by all parties to provide a structure for how decisions about the north section land management and operations are made to assist with activities that benefit the preserve.
Moved to approve the MOU and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement.

5.  Chadwick Mowing
City Manager Vause- Mr. Doug Chadwick has agreed to mow the grass for free at the Maverick Holdings Property on SE 71st Avenue in an effort to help keep the community clean.
Moved to approve the offer depending on the contingent findings by the City Manager and City Attorney findings in the prior nuisance abatement ordinance.

H.  DISCUSSION
1.  RTS Bus Route in Hawthorne
City Manager Vause- RTS is willing to extend the services in the City of Hawthorne for a cost to the City.
The City Commission agreed to decline the RTS offer.

I.  CITIZEN COMMENTS- None

J.  REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/INFORMATION
City Manager Vause gave her weekly review.
City Attorney Hoehn- No report
Commissioner Roberts- Thanks to the City Manager for budget information.  Super seniors whining down.  Did reading summit at Hawthorne High School.  Did Elder Summit and Tea/Hat meeting.  The last super senior gathering is at the Recreation Park for an outdoor bar bq.
Commissioner Carlton- Thanks to the City Manager for budget information.
Commissioner Bouie- Thanks to the City Manager for the budget information.
Vice Mayor Howard- Attended the Legislative Day and we are hoping they help us get some funding to make improvements to the City.  Also want to thank the City Manager.

Ms. Janice Stallings gave an update on LOCNP.
