B. AGENDA ITEMS
1. Brownfield Overview
Mr. Charles Ray, PPM Consultants explained he has a background in Economic Development with the City of St. Petersburg. He gave an overview of Brownfield’s Program, Program Benefits and Success Stories.
2. Brownfield Designation Area
City Manager Vause gave the logistics over the next 2 months for the potential Brownfield designation areas with future land use and showed the designated areas on the map that will be advertised in the newspaper.
3. Update on Alachua County Brownfield
Mr. Edgar Campa-Palafax- Alachua County is working with different municipalities to get a grant for different Brownfield’s sights. They are trying to bring jobs and economic growth to Hawthorne and other rural areas in Alachua County. Mr. Palafax also suggested establishing an Economic Development Board to report to the City Commission.

D. STAFF/COMMISSION COMMENTS
City Commission and Staff asked a few questions regarding the Brownfield presentation.
