Discussions and Actions
- Voted on minutes of Sept 11,as amended. 5-0-1.
- Scheduling FinCom meetings on alternating Thursdays in Town Hall 1st and 3rd. proposed
- Next meeting will be on Tuesday Sept 25.
- October 3rd meeting will be at the town budget hearing for the Special Town Meeting.
We can still recommend funding for contracts from a different funding source

Impact of Contract settlements of FY09
Lorraine gave us FY 09 budget estimates. Committee reviewed the assumptions for Expenses in FY 09.
$165,000 in reserve fund for Special Education has been used already.
$831,000 for a potential override .for FY09 This does not include any new programs. $200,000 is estimated for warrant articles.
· Committee members reviewed Mailer Draft after the BOS decision to fund contracts from FY 07 free cash. Mailer will be reviewed by Tim Clarke and Willie Wickman before mailing. It should be at the Post Office as quickly as possible to inform for public hearing on Oct 3.
· At the next meeting The FinCom will be finalizing the mailing, set our calendar for budget meetings, review the new budget format to be used by all town boards, review proposed budget format for the schools.
