BOS called a Tri-board meeting to discuss the Warrant and Override for the Special Town Meeting on October 3, 2007 and Election Day on October 16,2007
FinCom meeting started at 8:15 after the Tri-board meeting.. Tim Bragan did not join our meeting.
Discussions and Actions
- Discussion on what if any actions could be accomplished before the BOS decided on Special Town Meeting, , Warrant, or Override amount. .
- Cindy Russo left meeting at 8:20 pm.
- Lorraine Leonard distributed and reviewed the Harvard Public Schools FY08 budget as of August 31, 2007.
- Steve Colwell reported on the School Committee meeting of September 10, 2007. He passed out copies of the schools projected enrollment figures, Paid time off motions and a summary of the Shaw Trust.
- ATFC 2007 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007. Information and registration form were received for individual to decide on attendance.
- The next meeting of FinCom will be Thursday Sept. 13 at 7:30 pm at the Hapgood Room of the Old Library.
- Meeting was adjourned at 8:50 pm.
