BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONER S MEETING MAY 12, 2010
Members Present: Mrs. Phyllis Bickford, Mrs. Mary Lou Sutter, Mr. Bruce Young, Mr. Mike Duffy, and Mr. Douglas Ficks.
Also Present: Mr. Neal Merritt, Water Supt. and Mr. Leo Peloquin, Atty.
Meeting Opened at 5:05 P.M.
SUBJECT: Superintendent’s Report-Heard Neal’s report concerning the Emergency Generator. We will not be ready for June Town meeting Generator Article.
Superintendent will be meeting with Town Administrator and Conservation Agent regarding the Auto Junk yard in Aquifer Protection Area.
Reviewed Old Colony Planning Council letter of support for the Peterson property just East of Hanson’s Crystal Spring Wellfield.
Motion by Mrs. Mary Lou Sutter to approve the minutes of April 14, 2010; seconded by Mr. Mike Duffy which included the actual amount of the commitment. Voted 5-0 in favor.
Motion by Mr. Mike Duffy to enter into Executive Session at 5:17 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Bruce Young. Entered under #3: To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the government’s bargaining or litigating position. Roll call vote: Mr. Duffy, aye; Mrs. Bickford, aye; Mr. Young, aye; Mr. Ficks, aye; and Mrs. Sutter, aye.
Back in open session at 8:45 P.M.
No motions or votes were taken in Executive Session.
Motion by Mr. Mike Duffy to adjourn at 8:47 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Bruce Young. 5-0 in favor.
