Announcements


The Hanson Water Department will begin hydrant flushing on or about September 21, 2015.~ Work will be scheduled Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and midnight.~ Hydrant flushing is done to remove iron and manganese deposits that collect on the walls of the water mains.~ Residents may experience air bubbles or water discoloration, which is not harmful. It is recommended you run cold water in a bathtub for a few minutes until the water and/or air bubbles clear up. If the water does not clear up within about 5 minutes, please contact the Hanson Water Department 781-447-1200.~ ~ ~~

Just For You Personal Training of Hanson will be hosting an outside Bootcamp fundraiser on Saturday, October 10, at 10 a.m. in the historic Whitman Park to benefit Dollars for Scholars Scholarship drive. Interested participants are requested to bring an exercise mat and a friend. The suggested donation is $15. Cub Scout Pack 34 is hosting a Haunted Mill at the Thomas Mill on Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.   Admission is $3.00 per person.  

Boy Scout Troop 34 will hold its annual Pumpkin Sale on the Town Hall Green on Saturday, October 17th & Sunday, October 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Friends of Camp Kiwanee will be hosting Hanson Has Talent on Friday, November 13th.  For more information please contact Nicole at 781-293-2333
