Announcements
The 2015 Street Listing Books are now available in the Town Clerk’s Office for purchase for $10.00.
The Hanson Democratic and Republican Town Committees will host a candidates’ forum for the local offices on Sunday, May 3rd, at 3:00 p.m. in the Selectmen’s meeting room. The Annual Town Election is Saturday, May 16th. The public is encouraged to attend and ask questions of the candidates.
Annual Town Meeting is Monday, May 4th at the Hanson Middle School. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. A quorum of 100 registered voters is required to start the meeting.
Absentee ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office for the Annual Town Election which will be held on Saturday, May 16th. Any registered voter who is unable to vote in person on election day due to absence from town, physical disability or religious belief may obtain an absentee ballot. Voters may absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk’s office or by mail. Applications for absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s office until noon on Friday May 15th.
