To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares – Update on Constantine/Edgehille v. Town of Hanson, Strautman v. Town of Hanson and Litigation regarding 62 Ocean Avenue.

Hanson Food Pantry new hours are Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to Noon and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Food Pantry is located at 228 High Street. For more information please contact Sharon Kennedy at 781-447-4344
There are vacancies on the Finance Committee, Conservation Commission, Board of Appeals and Historical Commission. If you are interested in serving on either committee, please complete an application for appointment and return it to the Selectmen’s office. Applications are available on line at www.hanson-ma.gov Citizen library/volunteer employment opportunities.
Due to the unprecedented snow fall this winter the Hanson Water Department will be unable to collect meter readings for several accounts.~ Therefore, if you would like to ensure an accurate reading and to avoid an estimated bill, please call your meter’s odometer display (including all zeros that may precede the number) and property address into the Water Department at 781-447-1200.~ Please submit readings by April 2, 2015.~
Epic Youth Battle of the Bands sponsored by the W-H Education Foundation will be held on Thursday, April 2nd from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Whitman Hanson Regional High School. The event will be MC’d by John Shea of WATD Radio. Tickets are $10.00. For more information and an application to participate, please visit www.whedfoundation.org.
Hanson Has Taste - Chrome book fundraiser for the Hanson Middle School. The event is Saturday, April 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Camp Kiwanee. Come meet your local teachers, local residents and community leaders to serve you. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at Hanson Middle School Principal Tranter’s office Tranter.william@whrsd.org or contact Jim McGahan at 781-424-9347. All proceeds go to HMS. Please support our kids and our schools!
