Announcements

Join us rain or shine on September 20th from 11-2 for our 9th Kids Fitness Festival at Whitman Hanson High School. This event showcases healthy food and healthy activities that families can incorporate into their busy lives. Come sample healthy food samples and drinks, watch karate, dance, majorette and cheerleading performances, create a craft masterpiece, jump on a moonwalk, try field hockey, meet the High School Team Captains, dance with a DJ, run through an obstacle course and much, much more!!!~ All for $5 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Panther Education Trust which sponsors grants at W-H High School. Please check out www.whedfoundation.org for more information!

There will be a Special Voter Registration session held on Friday, September 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Registrar’s office at the Town Hall.  This will be the last day to register to vote and change party enrollment for the October 6th Special Town Meeting.  Any citizen may register to vote at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours;  Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or by mail-in registration.  Any resident who will be 18 years of age by October 6th is eligible to register to vote by September 26th.
