The Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the following committees: Finance, Nathaniel Thomas Mill, Recreation, Finance Committee, Conservation Commission, North River Commission, Zoning By-law Committee. If you are interested in serving, please complete an Application for Appointment which can be downloaded from the town website www.hanson-ma.gov under Citizens’ Library
Community emergency Response Team Training – Sponsored by the Regional Emergency Planning Council. The 11 week training program begins Monday, September 8th at 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. An informational session on Monday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Emergency Operations Center 166 Mt. Prospect Street, Bridgewater.
Absentee ballots are now available at the Hanson Town Clerk’s office for the State Primary being held on Tuesday, September 9th. Any registered voter who is unable to vote in person on Election Day due to absence from town, physical disability or religious belief may obtain an absentee ballot. Voters may absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk’s office or by mail. Applications for absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s office until noon on Monday, September 8th.
