On August 12th, 2014 at 6:30 pm Hanson Kiwanis and Hanson Rotary will be hosting a fundraiser at Camp Kiwanee in Hanson. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Hanson Food Pantry (HFP).~ More details on how to purchase tickets will be forthcoming. If you or someone you know owns a business, please consider donating gift certificates for goods/services for our raffle and silent auction. Please email lfitzkemmett@gmail.com with any questions.
Community emergency Response Team Training – Sponsored by the Regional Emergency Planning Council. The 11 week training program begins Monday, September 8th at 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. An informational session on Monday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Emergency Operations Center 166 Mt. Prospect Street, Bridgewater
Third annual Trivia Night, sponsored by the Hanson Public Library Foundation, Inc. Trivia Night 2014 will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Camp Kiwanee’s Needles Lodge. Doors open at 6:30, and the trivia game will begin at 8:00 p.m. Trivia Teams can reserve a table for last year’s rate of $150 (up to 8 people).~ Individuals can participate at the rate of $20 per person. Popcorn and water are included in the entry fee, and participants are encouraged to bring their favorite munchies as well.~ There will be a cash bar. The proceeds from the evening will provide enrichment programs at the Hanson Public Library, including author talks and the annual
