VI      COMMITTEE REPORTS

VII     EXECUTIVE SESSION
To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares –Highway and Administrative Professionals Union

To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with non-union personnel  – Police Lieutenant



VIII    ADJOURNMENT


Announcements
Absentee ballots are now available at the Town Clerk’s Office for the Special Recall Election to be held on Saturday, June 28th at the Maquan Elementary School.  Any registered voter who is unable to vote in person on Election Day due to absence from Town, physical disability or religious belief may obtain an absentee ballot.  Voters may absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk’s office or by mail.  Applications for absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s Office until noon on Friday, June 17th.  For more information please contact the Town Clerk’s office at 781-293-2772.

Pay As You Throw starts July 1st.  All Hanson residents who wish to use the Transfer Station will need new orange transfer station sticker by August 1st.   Stickers are available in the Board of Health office.  Stickers will be issued at no cost, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. –  2:00 p.m. and Tuesday evenings 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Trash bags are available at all local retail stores.

The Hanson Transfer Station will be closed all day to the public on Monday, June 30, 2014 for reconfiguration and to prepare for the launch of Pay-As-You-Throw, beginning July 1, 2014.
