Announcements
Open Burning Season will run until May 1st. Permits can be obtained at Fire Headquarters, 505 Liberty Street, daily from 9-5. The cost of a permit is $20.00 payable by check or money order made out to The Town of Hanson. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Town Clerk’s office will be closed all day on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Please plan your business accordingly.
Hanson Community Preservation Committee will hold its annual public Open Forum Meeting on Wednesday, March 12th from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Hanson Town Hall. The committee will review the 2013 projects, discuss the CPC Master Plan and discuss the Community Preservation Act (CPA) and how CPA monies might benefit the housing, open space, historic preservation and recreational needs of Hanson. Potential grant applicants (particularly members of other town boards and committees) and the general public are encouraged to attend.
