VII EXECUTIVE SESSION
For the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation and conducting collective bargaining sessions since an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the Town.

Announcements
Open burning ends on May 1st. Permits are available at Fire Headquarters, 505 Liberty Street, daily from 9-5. The cost of a permit is $20.00 payable by check or money order made out to The Town of Hanson. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. Residents are required to call the phone number listed on the permit prior to burning to confirm that burning is allowed that day.
The Fire Department will be holding an Open House to display the new fire engine on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Resident are welcome to attend.
The Board of Selectmen will be conduct a run through of Town on April 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Department with articles will be on hand to present their articles and answer questions. The public is invited to attend.
Green Hanson and the Hanson Children’s Museum will be sponsoring the 6th Annual Earth Day at the Town Hall Green on Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office for the Special State Election which will be held on Tuesday, April 30th. Applications for Absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s Office until Noon on Monday, April 29th. For more information please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 781-293-2772.
