For the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation and conducting collective bargaining sessions since an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the Town.

Announcements
Wednesday, April 10th is the last day to register to vote or change party enrollment for the upcoming Special State Primary. The Registrars will hold a special voter registration on Wednesday, April 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Town Hall. The Special State Primary will be held on Tuesday, April 30th.
The Highway Department is offering a brush drop off for disposal of brush only on Saturday April 6, 2013 and Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No leaves, lawn clippings or construction material will be permitted. Due to the severity of the winter storms, a large number of trees and limbs have come down. ~Hanson Highway is sponsoring a storm debris drop off center for these two (2) Saturdays only. The Highway Department will NOT be picking up any yard debris from private property. ~ The location of the drop off site is Industrial Way off Route 27 Franklin Street. ~Please enter from Franklin Street, turn right at the STOP sign and continue to the end of the cul-de-sac for drop off. Highway personnel will be available to provide offloading
instructions.
The Board of Selectmen will be conduct a run through of Town Meeting on April 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Department with articles will be on hand to present their articles and answer questions. The public is invited to attend.
Green Hanson and the Hanson Children’s Museum will be sponsoring the 6th Annual Earth Day at the Town Hall Green on Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office for the Special State Election which will be held on Tuesday, April 30th. Applications for Absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s Office until Noon on Monday, April 29th. For more information please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 781-293-2772.
