For the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation and conducting collective bargaining sessions since an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the Town.

Announcements
State Auditor Suzanne Bump is coming to Hanson for a forum on the issue of unfunded state mandates. The event is Wednesday, April 3 at 7:30 pm at Hanson Town Hall in the Selectmen’s meeting room. The forum is open to the public but seating is limited so RSVPs are encouraged. To reserve a seat contact Rep. Cutler’s State House office at 617-722-2014 or email Maureen.Bates@mahouse.gov.
Green Hanson will be sponsoring a Clean Up Green Up day on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 9-11 . Volunteers are requested to meet at the Town Hall Green. For more information call Sue Gaspar at 781-223-1392 Chair, Clean Up Green Up Hanson
Green Hanson and the Hanson Children’s Museum will be sponsoring the 6th Annual Earth Day at the Town Hall Green on Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office for the Special State Election which will be held on Tuesday, April 30th. Applications for Absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk’s Office until Noon on Monday, April 29th. For more information please call the Town Clerk’s Office at 781-293-2772.
