Announcements


Hanson will hold a Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 15th  from 5:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. at the Hanson Town Hall Green.  

Dollars for Scholars are holding a 50/50 Raffle. A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold.  Tickets are $50.00 each.  To purchase tickets send an e-mail to info@dfswh.com or contact Michael Ganshirt at 781-252-9683 or Jean Dean at 617-827-0125.  The drawing will be held on December 15, 2012 at the Collin Young Memorial Benefit Concert.

Hanson Community Christmas has placed Giving Trees at the Town Hall and Senior Center.  Each ornament has a Christmas Wish.  Residents are urged to fulfill the wish by purchasing the item.  Collection boxes are located at the Town Hall, Senior Center and Stitch N Time cleaners.  Monetary donations are always welcome by sending a check to Hanson Community Christmas P.O. The Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Police Chief Search Committee.  Applications are available in the Selectmen’s office and on-line at www.hanson-ma.gov.  The deadline for applications is Friday, December 21st.
