Announcements
Water Use Restrictions: No nonessential outdoor water use allowed, except by means of a hand-held hose, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Examples of nonessential outdoor water use include washing of vehicles other than by means of a commercial car wash except as necessary for operator safety; and the washing of exterior building surfaces, parking lots, driveways or sidewalks except as necessary to apply paint, preservatives, stucco, pavement or cement. Sprinklers may be used for lawn watering outside the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. one (1) day per week.
Hanson Public Library Foundation will host the Hanson Public Library Trivia Night on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Camp Kiwanee’s Needles Lodge, Rt. 58, Hanson. The cost of entering the competition is $150 for a table (seats up to 8 people), or $20 for an individual admission.~~ The entry fee includes complimentary popcorn and water, but participants are encouraged to bring their favorite snacks.~ A cash bar will also be available.~ Doors will open at 7:00 p.m., with questions starting at 7:30. The Town Clerk’s Office will be closed on Tuesday, July 16th and Thursday, July 19th. Please plan your business accordingly.
The Corvairs will be performing a Free Concert on the Green on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
