As part of National Library Week the Friends of Hanson Public Library will sponsor two events on Friday, April 20th.  Portraits in Silhouette from11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  10 minute sessions.  Silhouettes are $30.00.  Thomas the Train Day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please call 781-293-2151 to register or e-mail info@hansonlibrary.org.

Green Hanson and the Hanson Children’s Museum are sponsoring the 5th Annual Earth Day on Saturday, April 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Town Hall Green. For more information check out the community calendar on the Town’s website or go to www.greenhanson.org.  

Tax Bills have been mailed and are due on May 1st.  Along with the tax bill is an insert explaining the new quarterly tax bill schedule for starting July 1, 2012.  Please read it carefully.  If you have any questions, please contact the Treasurer/Collector’s Office.
