Nomination papers for the May 19th town election are now available at the Town Clerk's office. For more information contact the town clerk at 781-293-2772.
Absentee Ballots for the Presidential Primary being held on Tuesday, March 6th are now available at the Town Clerk's office. Any registered voter, who is unable to vote in person on Election Day due to absence from town, physical disability or religious belief, may obtain an absentee ballot. Voters may absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk's office or by mail. Applications for absentee ballots will be accepted at the Town Clerk's office until noontime Monday, March 5th. Hanson Community Preservation Committee will be holding its annual public Open Forum Meeting on March 21st from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Hanson Town Hall. Committee members will be on hand to discuss the Community Preservation Act (CPA) and~how CPA monies might benefit the housing, open space, historic preservation and recreational needs of Hanson.~ Potential grant applicants (particularly members of other town boards and committees) and the general public are encouraged to attend. This forum is a great opportunity to learn about CPA and the many ways it can be used to improve our town.~ The forum is also a meant to be a platform for providing feedback/suggestions to the Committee for future projects.
