Keeping our Children Safe – Educational forum on the dangers & prevention of EEE, West Nile Virus, Lyme Disease & other arboviral illnesses will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at the First Baptist Church 214 Main Street from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and free childcare will be provided. Candidates forum - On Sunday, May 1st the Hanson Democratic Town Committee and the Hanson Republican Town Committee will be holding their joint Town-wide Candidates’ Forum at the Hanson Town Hall beginning at 3:00 PM.~ All Hanson voters are strongly encouraged to attend.~ This is your chance to hear what the candidates have to say and to ask them questions before you cast your vote.~~For more information please call Cathy DiPasqua Egan at

May Town Meeting – Town Meeting will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Hanson Middle School at 7:30 p.m. A quorum of 100 registered voters is required to start the meeting. Copies of the warrant are posted on the website at www.hanson-ma.gov.
Historical Society Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 5th at Camp Kiwanee. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.50 per person.
