Board of Health Meeting
Tuesday, July 21, 2015
Meeting Start Time: 6:30 pm
Place: Selectmen’s Hearing room
Hanson Town Hall, 542 Liberty Street, Hanson, MA 02341
Having a quorum, Mr. Amado called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Present: Chairman Amado, Mr. McSweeney, Ms. Dias, Ms. Tramontana & Ms. Cocio
REVIEW OF AGENDA
Read and sign all mail, permits, warrants and expense vouchers.
NEW BUSINESS
- The Board’s next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 an September 1, 2015.
- Septic Plans before the Board for review
- 344 Reed Street – Deed Restriction – 4 bedroom - Variance that would allow a vertical separation reduction from the required 5’ to 4.1’. Mr. McSweeney made a motion to approve the submitted plans, 2nd by Ms. Dias. Approved 3-0.
- 16 Meeting House Lane –Deed Restriction – 5 Bedroom - Variance that would allow a vertical separation reduction from the required 5’ to 4.1’. Mr. McSweeney made a motion to approve the submitted plans, 2nd by Mr. Amado. Approved 2-0. Ms. Dias recused herself from this vote.
- 6 Upton Street – Deed Restriction – 3 Bedroom – Variance for the following:
- Use of a sieve analysis where a percolation test could not be performed.
- Reduction in system (septic tank) location setbacks to a wetland from the required 25’ to 13.9’.
- Reduction is system (pump chamber) location setbacks to a wetland from the required 25’ to 20.8’.
- Reduction in system (leaching field) location setbacks to a private water supply well from the required 100’ to 70.5’.
Motion made by Ms. Dias to approve the plan with requested variances. 2nd by Mr. McSweeney. Easement must be recorded and submitted prior to any work being done.
Motion to adjourn meeting made by Mr. McSweeney, second by Ms. Dias.
Unanimous 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 7:52 pm.
