Board of Health Meeting
Tuesday, March 3, 2015
Meeting Start Time: 6:30 pm
Place: 2nd floor Hearing room
Hanson Town Hall, 542 Liberty Street, Hanson, MA 02341
Having a quorum, Mr. Amado called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Present: Chairman Amado, Mr. McSweeney, Mr. Edgehille & Ms. Cocio
REVIEW OF AGENDA
Read and sign all mail, permits, warrants and expense vouchers.
NEW BUSINESS
- The next Board of Health meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March, 24 2015 at 6:30pm.
- Discussion of non compliance of Private Hauler Regulations. The Board would like Thompson Waste to appear before them at the next meeting, March 24, 2015 to discuss non-compliance of the Private Hauler Regulations.
- By-Law for clothing allowance – The Health Agent submitted a clothing allowance for approval to Wage & Personnel. Mr. Edgehille does not think a By-Law is necessary. Any clothing purchase should be put before the Board for reimbursement. The allowance is a line in the BOH budget.
- The Board voted to allow former Health Agent, Vincent Flaherty, to conduct inspections in the absence of the current Health Agent. Mr. Edgehille made a motion to allow Vincent Flaherty to fill in for inspections on an as needed basis, 2nd by Mr. McSweeney. 3-0
