A regular Meeting of the Town Board of Guilderland was held at the Town Hall, Route 20 McCormick's Corners, Guilderland, NY, on the above date at 7:30 pm. THAT THE TOWN BOARD AUTHORIZES THE SUPERVISOR TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CAPITAL DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE UNDER WHICH CDTC WILL ADMINISTER THE PREPARATION OF A NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN FOR THE HAMLET OF GUILDERLAND CENTER. THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF THE PROJECT IS $30,800, OF WHICH $23,100 (75%) WILL BE FUNDED BY A LINKAGE GRANT FROM CDTC AND $7,700 WILL BE FUNDED BY THE TOWN OF GUILDERLAND. Supervisor Runion and the Town Board returned to the boardroom and Supervisor Runion stated that the Town of Guilderland had reached an agreement with James R. Murley and his attorneys with respect to the outstanding administrative proceeding commenced pursuant to Article 75 of the Civil Service Law and Section 155 of Town Law.
Pursuant to the town agreement, Mr. Murley, a town employee for over 35 years, has submitted his retirement papers to the N.Y.S. Comptrollers Office to be effective May 30, 2007.
Effective April 27th, Mr. Murley ceased to be an active employee of the Town of Guilderland.
Supervisor Runion answered questions from reporters.
