At 7:30PM       Public hearing for the establishment of Guilderland Water District No. 83.

Agenda

1.      Consider the appointment of Pastor Geoffrey Ekstein as Police Department Chaplain as recommended by the Chief of Police and conduct the swearing-in ceremony.

2.      Consider authorizing the Supervisor to sign Performing Arts Center Artists Contracts as recommended by the Public Relations Officer and Parks & Recreation Department.   

3.      Consider authorizing the Supervisor to sign the lease agreement for the senior center as recommended by the Town Attorney.

4.      Consider authorizing the Supervisor to sign the Stipulation of Settlement for tax certiorari proceedings for real property owned by Stuyvesant Plaza, Inc. as recommended by the Town Attorney and Tax Assessor

5.      Consider authorizing the Supervisor to sign Part I of the Full Environmental Assessment Form for McKnownville Stormwater Drainage Improvements as recommended by the Town-designated engineer.  

6.      Consider accepting the proposed dedication to the Town of 5.72 acres of open space adjacent to Oxford Heights Apartment as a condition in the Zoning Board of Appeals’ Special Use Permit for an apartment building and authorizing the Supervisor to sign documents necessary to complete the dedication as recommended by the Town-designated engineer.  

7.      Consider accepting the proposed dedication to the Town of Briarwood Court from Church Road to the new cul-de-sac including sanitary sewer, water, stormwater management, and roads, and to authorize the Supervisor to sign documents necessary to complete the dedication as recommended by the Town-designated engineer.

8.      Consider appointing Seth Whitney to the position of Foreman with an increase in pay of $2.00 per hour as recommended by the Superintendent of the Department of Water & Wastewater.

9.      Consider waiving the building permit fee for repairs caused by a fire at 240 Settles Hill Road as recommended by the Building & Zoning Inspector  

10.     Consider authorizing the Supervisor to sign a collector’s warrant for water charges for the Guilderland Water District as recommended by the Receiver of Taxes.

11.     Consider approving transfers relating to the purchase of a paver by the Highway Department as recommended by the Town Comptroller.

12      Consider adopting an amended Town Board meeting schedule as recommended by the Supervisor.  

13.     Consider approving amended Exhibit A to the Ethics Law which lists the Town officers and employees to file annual financial disclosure statements as recommended by the Ethics Board.

14.     Consider reappointing Brigitte Fortune, Dr. David Carpenter, and Ellen Howie to the Ethics Board for three-year terms ending on December 31, 2018.

15.     Recognize Officer Joseph Turoski for the award by New York State Mothers Against Drunk Driving for Officer Turoski’s efforts to deter drunk/drugged driving.

        2.      “NY Run for the Fallen” on June 12th.
        3.      New pool house opening at Tawasentha Park.
        4.      Public hearings on the new zoning code and amended abandoned properties law on June 21st.
