PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
1. Consider appointing the following persons for the conduct of primaries and elections for the year 2008:
a.Machine Custodians – William Cook (R), Michael Hotaling (R), Abel Palma (D) and Charles Arcolano (D)
b.Party Representatives – James Bruce (R) and Thomas Robert (D)
2.Consider appointing Michael Borges as a member of the Economic Development Advisory Committee.
3.Consider release of escrow held for Bentwood 2C Subdivision, Spyglass Court per recommendation of Town Designated Engineer (Boswell Engineering).
4.Consider installation of a stop sign at the intersection of Curry Road Extension and Kings Road per recommendation of the Traffic Safety Committee.
5.Consider installation of stop signs on Penney Lane at the intersection of DiBella Drive and on Penney Lane at the intersection of Timothy Lane.
6.Consider approving housekeeping changes to employee manual as recommended by Human Resources.
7.Consider appointing Janet Thayer (I), Christopher Knauf (C), and Robert Hilt (D) to the Ethics Board.
8.Discussion concerning a proposal from Councilperson Redlich called “Department Head Sessions at Town Board Meetings” that would require specific Town department heads identified in the proposal to appear before the Town Board at televised meetings for the purpose of answering questions from Town Board members.
9.Consider entering into Executive Session to discuss following:
a. Contract negotiations with Police Benevolent Association
