1. Re-appoint Richard Sherwood as Town Attorney (Term expires December 31, 2009).
2. Re-appoint Stephen Feeney as Chairperson of the Planning Board for 2008.
3. Re-appoint Linda Clark as an Assistant Town Attorney and Counsel to the Planning Board.
4. Re-appoint Michael Cleary as a member of the Planning Board. (Term Expires December 31, 2014).
5. Appoint Thomas Remmert as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals (Term Expires December 31, 2012).
6. Re-appoint Peter Barber as Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals for 2008.
7. Appoint Robert Feller as Assistant Town Attorney and Counsel to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
8. Re-appoint John Wemple, Jr. as a member of the Environmental Conservation Advisory Council and as Chairperson of the Environmental Conservation Advisory Council for the year 2008.
9. Re-appoint Herb Hennings, Stuart Reese, Glen Kirkland and Thomas Kriger and appoint Stephen Albert and Gordon McClelland as members of the Environmental Advisory Council.
10. Appoint William Young as Chairperson of the Guilderland Industrial Development Agency and re-appoint James Shahda and Michael Bopp, and appoint Christopher Bombardier and Anthony Carrow as members of said Industrial Development Agency and appoint the firm of Hodgkin & Russ, Joseph Scott of Counsel, as attorney to the IDA.
11. Re-appoint Donald Csaposs as Chairperson of the Economic Advisory Council and re-appoint John Decatur, Peter Sparano and Garry Robinson and appoint Katherine Burbank (Chamber of Commerce Representative) and James Lozano as members of said Economic Advisory Council. Appoint the remaining members of Council to consist of Chairperson of Planning Board, Zoning Board, Conservation Council, and IDA.
12. Appoint Charles Cahill as alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and ZBA liason to emergency services.
13. Re-appoint Dr. Don Doynow as Medical Director, EMS.
14. Re-appoint Alice Begley as Town Historian.
15. Re-appoint Jean Cataldo as Registrar of Vital Statistics and Cindy Wadach, as Deputy.
16. Appoint Rosemary Centi as Passport Agent.
17. Re-appoint Rosemary Centi as a Marriage Officer (4 year Term).
18. Authorize Town Supervisor to make provisional appointments.
19. Designate First National Bank of Scotia, First Niagara Bank, Citizens Bank, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, Pioneer Commercial Bank, NBT Bank and M&T Bank as official depositories of the Town of Guilderland.
20. Authorize Supervisor and Comptroller to invest Certificates of Deposit in any of the designated official depositories with a third party holding the securities.
21. Authorize Supervisor and Comptroller to sign checks on behalf of the town.
22. Designate Boswell Engineering, Delaware Engineering, Barton and Loguidace, Clough Harbour and Spectra Engineering to serve as Town Designated Engineers for 2008.
23. Set meeting dates for the Town Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Guilderland Conservation Advisory Council as per Schedule A.
24. Establish mileage rate to coincide with Federal IRS approved rate per mile for reimbursement to town employees when authorized to use their private vehicles on town business.
25. Authorize the Highway Superintendent and the Superintendent of Water and Wastewater Management to spend up to $2000 per year for the purchase of tools without prior approval of the town board.
26. Designate the respective Fire Chiefs as Fire Wardens for 2008 per Schedule B.
27. Appoint a fire investigation team per Schedule C.
28. Designate the Town Supervisor as Affirmative Action Officer.
29. Designate the Town Supervisor as Emergency Response Officer.
30. Designate Town Board Members/ Officials as Liaisons to various Town Departments for 2008 per Schedule D.
31. Designate Altamont Enterprise as Official Newspaper of the Town of Guilderland.
32. Approve holiday schedule for Transfer Station for the year 2008 per Schedule E.
33. Approve holiday schedule for non-union Town employees (other than Transfer Station) for 2008 per Schedule F. (Union Town employees holidays are per contract).
