Trustees of Trust Funds Meeting Minutes
Meeting date: July 21, 2016 @ 4:34 p.m.
Attendees: Ken Paulsen, Vicki Norris, Linda Nickerson, Brian Sanford & Kim LaCoste
Review of Capital Reserve & Common Fund investments. Capital Reserve account is moving but at a slower rate due to U S Treasury Bond rate at record low. The cash reserves will be invested when the rates go up. Common Funds are invested in the proper percentages as requested and are increasing. All in all we are satisfied with how the funds are being invested and are positive we have made a good decision to go with Charter Trust to manage our Town funds.
Our next Charter Trust Meeting date was set for January 5, 2017 to be held at the Town Office at 4:30 p.m.
Bryan & Kim departed at 5:25 and we continued our meeting.
The Conservation Committee is interested in the Sayles Fund and will be looking for a way to take over stewardship of the land.
August Ken will put together a presentation on investments for the Town meeting date to be determined.
Ken reached out to Mylan regarding the Belcher Scholarship Fund and he advised there was no entries submitted so it will continue to increase over the next year.
There have been software changes made to the MS-9 & MS-10 that will be coming sometime in September 2016 for testing.
Next meeting was set for October 12, 2016 at 4:30 p.m.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:38 p.m.
