Trustees of Trust Funds Meeting Minutes
Meeting date: April 24, 2015 @ 4:25 p.m.
Attendees: Ken Paulsen, Vicki Norris, and Linda Nickerson
More discussion on each of the investors what we liked, disliked, saw potential and didn’t to come to a decision on which company best fits our needs for the Town.
We devoted most of the meeting discussing our Investment Policy and what it needed to include so we could prepare for a new updated policy for Greenfield to present to the State in order to include Prudent Man and Prudent Investor as our investment options. Review of the handbook, and examples Ken had provided together with all our thoughts on how detailed or not detailed we should be. Vicki will put together our thoughts and prepare a draft for our next meeting. Still a work in process and we anticipate review of the new policy yearly to ensure no changes are needed.
Ken will attend a 2015 Town Trustee Seminar being held on May 12th in Keene and Linda will review the dates in hopes of being able to attend one of the meetings.
Ken will speak to our Town Representatives from the Fire Department, Highway Department and Police Department to get approximate dates for any disbursements for the CRF’s in order to provide to our investor to ensure they are readily available when needed.
Ken will schedule another meeting with Charter Trust Company as we all feel they appear to be the best fit for Greenfield however, we have more questions before making a final decision. Hopefully we will meet in early May for a decision end of May early June at the latest.
