Selectboard’s Work Session Minutes
Thursday, June 17, 2015 – 5:30 PM
Selectboard: Chairwoman Selectwoman Karen Day, Selectwoman Margaret Charig Bliss, Selectman Stephen Atherton Jr.

The meeting was called to order at 5:34 PM by Chairwoman Karen Day.

5:30 PM: Selectboard Non-Public Session – DPW Applicant Interview
At 5:35 the Selectboard Chair made a motion to enter non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 IIb, the hiring of any person as a public employee. The motion was seconded by Selectwoman Charig Bliss. On a roll call vote of 3-0 the Selectboard voted to enter non-public session. At 6:55 the Board voted to exit non-public session. It was noted that during the non-public session the Board had an interview with an applicant for the DPW Heavy Equipment Operator. It was noted that the Board had then reviewed resumes received to date and determined on a vote of 2-0 with one abstention to make an offer of employment to one of the applicants. The Board requested that the Town Administrator make an offer of employment to an applicant and bring the results to the next meeting. The minutes were sealed.
6:55 PM: Documents for Approval/Review/Signature
At 6:55 pm the Board reviewed and signed A/P Invoices and A/P Checks. The Board signed Payroll and Meeting Minutes from 5/28 and reviewed the minutes of 6/11/2015. The Board requested changes be made to the meeting minutes of 6/11. The Board approved an Employee Vacation Request form.
Adjournment
On a motion by the Chair, and a second by Selectwoman Charig Bliss, the Board voted to adjourn. The motion carried 3-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:23 PM.
The minutes are final when approved and signed by the Selectboard. A signed copy is on file in the Selectboard’s office.
