Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, August 27, 2013 – 5:00 pm
Board of Selectmen: Chairman Rob Wimpory, Selectwoman Karen Day, and Selectwoman Debra Davidson
Staff: Town Administrator Patt, DPW Supervisor Tim Murray
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM by Chairman Wimpory.
Documents for Approval/Review/Signature
The Selectmen reviewed and signed the following items:
A. People’s United Bank Dump Truck Lease Agreement
B. A/P Invoices
C. Payroll
D. Revised Town Hall Rental – date revision
E. Waste Water Warrant
5:00 PM: Lease Agreement – People’s United Bank
Chairman Wimpory opened the meeting at 5:00 PM. The Board reviewed A/P invoices and payroll for signature. The Board signed the Waste Water Warrant, which will be forwarded to the Tax Collector. The Administrator presented a copy of People’s United Bank’s lease agreement for the 2014 MACK truck. The Board signed the lease agreement.
The Board had a short discussion about the Meeting House steeple repairs with DPW Supervisor Murray as there rot and decay found outside the scope of the original agreement. The Board then asked Supervisor Murray to gather information about the costs associated with other options for the steeple, including the option to return the steeple to its original colonnaded structure.
Adjournment
On a motion by Chairman Wimpory and a second by Selectwoman Day the Board voted to adjourn. The motion carried 3-0.
