Selectmen Minutes 10/20/05
Present: Selectmen - Chairman, George Rainier; Selectman, William Brooks; Selectman, Conrad Dumas
Administrative Assistant, Deb Davidson taking minutes
Department Heads:

Appointments:
6:00 Sonny & Linda Pero -  Mr. & Mrs. Pero were here to discuss their living situation and how can it be corrected.  The status of their septic & the fact their temporary housing permit has expired was discussed.  Mr. Pero discussed they have been trying to get financing, however they are having a difficult time due to the age of the trailer.  The Code Officer discussed some options and he, along with the Administrative Assistant, will work with the Pero family to see that things move forward.  There is funding through Rural Development, we know of a modular home that is available.  The Pero family could work towards purchasing it.  Septic, furnace, well & foundation would all be additional expenses.  Mrs. Pero will call for a payoff on their current mortgage and get that figure to the central office.  Administrative Assistant will work with Rural Development and see that all the paperwork gets followed through with.  With all this moving forward, the Selectmen will grant an extension on the temporary housing permit.
Code Officer, Hopkins discussed the unpaid balance of the original permit, there is $91.00 remaining.  Mrs. Pero stated she would walk to the town office tomorrow and pay the balance.
Decision:  Staff will work with the Pero’s to assure all paperwork is completed to help them with the rural development funding that is available for low –moderate income families.  The Pero family will keep the town informed as to how they are moving forward.
6:40 pm in accordance with RSA 91-A:3 II (a) motion by Selectman Rainier to enter into Non-Public session.  Seconded by Selectmen Brooks & Dumas
