REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Town of Greenfield is seeking RFPs for the purchase and installation of a 20 or 22KW standby automatic generator with a 100 amp service rated automatic transfer switch. The generator quote shall include pricing for both LP (propane) and Diesel versions. The scope of work will include:
• Provide wiring for one generator and service entrance rated automatic transfer switch
• Miscellaneous wire, conduit, battery and all necessary connections
• Transfer switch to be located along side existing service panel
• Concrete pad, placement, and site work will be provided by the Town
• The generator installation shall be in accordance with all applicable codes and standards
• Start-up and customer operational training
• The generator will provide emergency standby power to the Town of Greenfield Town Office and Police Station building.
Quote separately two portable generators – 1 Towable generator providing 14KW, or as directed by DPW at walkthrough, and 1 portable generator rated for 6500 max watts
Walkthrough with DPW Supervisor Tim Murray at 9AM Friday, September 28th at the Town Office. The bids will be due on Thursday, October 4, 2012 by 12:00 pm. Bids will be opened on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 5:00 pm, by the Board of Selectmen. The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids submitted.
